Just Because

you start your mediocre lackluster status update with 'That Awkward Moment...' doesn't mean it becomes interesting. The update. or Awkward. The moment.

Please. stop.

This Show Rocked my World

Thank you! Our Daily Bread show for being so awesome! Thanks to Amara Tabor-Smith and an amazing cast and CounterPulse for sharing life with us and bringing us amazing shit. I balled my eyes out. This weekend is sold out, but I really think there needs to be a few more weekends of showings. A special bow for my dear dear friend and fierce woman Tossie Long. Her singing makes me want to change my life for the better!

p.s. this is where the 'Sneeze of Shame' took place. *cringe*

The Sneeze of Shame

I am pretty sure I can be described (or have been) an Awkward Black Girl. If I wasn't sure before then I'm certain that after I decided to land a fat and juicy sneeze on Alice Walker's head, neck and back during a very moving and dramatic part of a theater performance I became an ABG Hall of Fame inductee. I'm pretty sure, that her reaching back and trying to wipe her neck for like 5 mins qualifies me. I think that even me apologizing after the show and she saying my baby was the cutest thing, doesn't change the fact. Damn! Yes. That Alice Walker. like Color Purple Alice.

Hella. Awkward.

The Bob Marley Documentary

BOB MARLEY FILM Trailer from Bob Marley Film on Vimeo.

The cool thing about this project is that it was done by his family and so it shed some light on the personal part of his life and journey as told by his family and close friends. His music is so timeless and it's good to see his family come together to give him a well deserved tribute.

The documentary is set to be released for limited theatrical viewing tomorrow. You can view a list of cities and dates where it will be showing here . It will be streaming live on Facebook and fingers crossed...will eventually be available on Netflix. You can read a review about it on the Cocoa Diaries

Custom One3snapshot Design Work

We recently completed the design and printing of custom screen printed shirts for an Organo Gold distributor in Lagos. It was a pleasure working with Titi who had a clear vision of what she wanted. From exchanging ideas back and forth over email and blackberry messenger, we finally came up with a design everyone was pleased with. Titi sent us pictures from an event hosted a few weeks ago, it was so great seeing it all come together.

We Can Tell The Future

This design was launched last year, before the Occupy Movement in the U.S and now in Nigeria which depending on who you ask was successful. Written on the shirt:
Sin Justicia. No Hay Paz
No Justice. No Peace
